Moves Dance Studio is a family-run establishment, driven by a deep passion for nurturing the artistic and technical growth of each dancer. Our aim is to guide every dancer in exploring their creativity, passion, and unique voice through the beauty of dance.

Not only do we focus on enhancing dancers' technical skills, but we also aim to instill valuable life lessons that go beyond the studio setting. Our ultimate objective is for every dancer at Moves to feel like they are an integral part of our studio family, not just a member.

Tenisha Miedel

An original student of Moves since 1987, Tenisha is a SAG & AFTRA member for 28 years with appearances in over 70 TV commercials and TV series. An award-winning choreographer known for bringing unique entertainment value to her work.

Carol has played a vital role at Moves since 1987. Her passion for the arts shines through as she strives to create a welcoming environment for all families and students.

Bryan Miedel

Moves Muscle Props

Bryan leads prop design and creates remarkable stage props that have garnered Moves Dance Company numerous awards and special acknowledgments.

A decorated choreographer for Moves Dance Company, renowned for her distinct jazz style. Assistant Director of Moves Dance Company and dedicated to guiding students to their utmost potential.

Principal choreographer for MDC, acclaimed for his inventive choreography. Former member of Gifted Souls and BoomCrack! Dance Company with multiple 1st place wins at World of Dance Chicago.

Andi Learman

Director of Company Ballet

Ballet, Contemporary, Pointe

Trained with Hubbard Street's Professional Program and currently an active dancer with Tapestry Contemporary Dance Company. Award-winning choreographer for MDC.

April Siroki

Competitive Coach / Technique Instructor

Ballet, Pointe, Turns

BFA in Dance Performance from Ball State University. Trained at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Joel Hall Dancers, and The Joffrey Ballet.

Bella King

Early Childhood Instructor

Known for her contagious personality and supportive teaching approach that inspires a passion for dance in young students.

Wheaton native with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Hope College. Advocates for Mental Health Awareness through Mindful Movement.

Michael Bonano

Acro/Tumbling Instructor

Competed in gymnastics to level 8 with over 7 years of coaching experience. Combines gymnastics and dance talents to enhance students' acrobatic skills.
