Studio Policies
Guidelines to ensure a positive experience for all dancers and families.
Cancellation Policy
30-Day Written Notice Required
To cancel enrollment, you must complete an official Moves Cancellation Form, available at the front desk. Billing and enrollment will cease 30 days after written notice is received. No refunds will be issued if you do not attend during the 30-day notice period.
Prorated Tuition
Tuition will be prorated based on the 30-day notice period. If less than 30 days notice is provided, the customer is responsible for the full upcoming monthly tuition. Only official Moves cancellation forms are accepted.
Studio Conduct
Respect & Attentiveness
Students must respect instructors and peers, listen attentively, and follow all instructions during class.
Clean Environment
Students should clean up after themselves and help maintain a tidy studio environment.
Food & Drinks
No food or drinks are allowed in the studio except water bottles. Please enjoy snacks in designated waiting areas only.
Parent Waiting Areas
Parents and siblings should wait quietly in designated waiting areas during class time.
Safety & Pickup
Student Supervision
Students must remain in the building until picked up by a parent or guardian. Moves is not responsible for students who leave the building unattended.
Parking Lot Safety
Please walk children to the studio door and watch them enter safely. No running in the parking lot.
Communication
Email Preferred
For all inquiries, email is the preferred method of communication. Please email info@movesdance.com for questions, concerns, or requests. You can expect a response within 24-48 hours during office hours.
Teacher Conversations
If you need to speak with an instructor about your dancer's progress, please schedule a conversation through the front desk. Teachers are unable to discuss student matters before or after class.
Additional Policies
Media Release
By enrolling, parents consent that student images and videos may be used for marketing and promotional activities including social media, website, and print materials.
Liability Waiver
Parents release Moves Dance Studio from liability for injuries or accidents that may occur during classes, rehearsals, performances, or studio events.
Injury Credits
To request an injury credit, submit an email with a doctor's note (dated within 7 days of injury) to info@movesdance.com. No refunds or credits for no-shows or last-minute cancellations.
